Why should you read my blog?
Smallfishbusiness.com has two main aims – saving time and money. I believe that I will provide you with ideas and tips that will help your company develop constantly, bring more income, and will give you peace of mind and passion for running a business. And a lot more time for hobbies, pleasure and spending time with family and friends.
You will find practical advice on running, managing and marketing your company (in a form quick, practical, cheap and easy-to-implement ideas), reviews of products, programs, software and books related to running a business.
Who am I addressing the content to?
First of all, I was thinking of two groups: freelancers working at home (marketers, programmers, translators, copywriters, all those who have a creative profession) and owners of small, local businesses such as: fitness clubs, gyms, local grocery stores, small hotels and guest houses, pubs, restaurants, spa and beauty salons, hairdressers, car repair shops.
It is you who will find the information here most useful.
So hopefully I can get through with the podcast and help:
- micro-entrepreneurs working as sole traders
- people who plan to start their own business – who wonder if it’s a good idea, and are looking for hints and ideas for the first steps in a small business
- local business owners with up to 10 employees
- people employed in marketing in small businesses
- entrepreneurs who have just started a company and are taking their first steps in business
- freelancers – graphic designers, journalists, webmasters, programmers
- self-employed – who receive orders from one or two large customers
- people who work from home (permanent or part-time)
- people who professionally spend a lot of time at the computer (office and administration employees)
- people who want to improve their work and as productive as possible
- people who create content on the Internet and run blogs, Facebook profiles, Instagram accounts or YouTube channels
- marketing soul mates, self-employed, in small businesses or powerful corporations
